Milestones
Reward members automatically: whoever reaches a threshold – level, messages, voice minutes, reputation, invites and more – gets a role, a badge or a message.
Milestones are simple rules following the pattern source ≥ threshold → action. For example: "From level 10 → Give role Regular" or "From 365 days on the server → Award badge Loyalty". That's how you build level roles, activity roles and rewards without promoting anyone by hand.
You'll find them under Dashboard → Engagement → Milestones (/dashboard/<server>/meilensteine) in the Rules tab. The second tab, Badges, belongs to Badges.
Setting it up#
- Open Dashboard → Engagement → Milestones.
- Click New rule – or start from a template: Level role (from level 5), Activity role (from 500 messages), Loyalty badge (1 year) or Trade badge.
- Under What is counted?, pick the source and enter the threshold (a whole number from 1).
- Under What happens?, pick the action and its target (role, badge or channel).
- Optional: write your own message and turn on Remove again below the threshold.
- Save – done. The rule is active right away.
Sources#
| Source | What is counted | Checked |
|---|---|---|
| Level | Level from XP, exactly like /rank | instantly |
| Messages | Counted messages since statistics started | hourly |
| Minutes in voice | Total voice minutes since statistics started | hourly |
| Reputation | Current reputation points | instantly |
| Invites | Total from invite tracking | instantly |
| Pokémon trades | Completed trades on this server | instantly |
| Days on the server | Since the (latest) join | hourly |
| Number of badges | Badges of this server plus yurna badges | instantly |
Level needs the leveling system to be on, Invites needs invite tracking – otherwise the rule is never reached. The dashboard points this out.
Actions#
- Give role – the classic level role.
- Take role – for example, remove the previous tier's role.
- Award badge – shows in the profile and on the rank card.
- Message in channel – congratulations in a channel of your choice.
- Direct message – personal congratulations via DM.
Messages (up to 1,800 characters) support these placeholders: {user}, {server}, {count}, {threshold}, {role}, {badge}.
Settings#
- Remove again below the threshold (roles and badges only): if the value drops below the threshold again, the role or badge disappears. With Take role, the role comes back instead.
- Active: disabled rules are paused but stay saved.
How rules behave:
- Each rule applies only once per member.
- New role rules also apply to everyone who has already reached the threshold (the bot syncs hourly).
- Messages and DMs only go to members who reach the threshold from now on – no belated congratulations to the whole server.
- Deleting a rule doesn't take away roles and badges that were already awarded.
Tip
For a level ladder where everyone keeps only the highest tier: next to "Level 10 → Give role B", add "Level 10 → Take role A".
Premium#
| New Moon | Half Moon | Full Moon | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Milestone rules | 5 | 25 | 100 |
If your plan goes down (for example, when a subscription ends), all rules stay saved. Only as many active rules as your plan allows take effect – the ones with the lowest thresholds. The rest are marked paused (plan limit).
Troubleshooting#
- The role isn't assigned. – The role must be below yurna's role, and yurna needs "Manage Roles".
- The reward arrives late. – Messages, voice minutes and days on the server are only checked once per hour.
- A DM doesn't arrive. – The member has turned off direct messages from server members.
