Run giveaways with /giveaway – timed or as a drop, with pause, reroll and an overview in the dashboard.

With /giveaway you host giveaways right in Discord. Members join with a button, and when time is up, yurna draws the winners automatically and announces them in the channel. You can also see all of your server's giveaways in the dashboard.

Starting a giveaway#

Type /giveaway start in Discord.
Fill in the options:
- time – how long it runs, e.g. 10m, 2h or 1d.
- winners – number of winners (1 to 100).
- channel – the text channel for the giveaway.
- prize – the prize (up to 100 characters).
yurna posts the giveaway in the channel. Members click 🎉 Join – or 🚫 Leave if they change their mind.
When it ends, yurna draws the winners and congratulates them in the channel. If there are no valid entries, the giveaway is cancelled.

Drop giveaways#

/giveaway drop has no duration: first to click wins. The giveaway ends as soon as enough people have joined to fill the number of winners. Great for spontaneous fun in chat.

Managing running giveaways#

end, pause, resume and reroll need the giveaway ID – that's the message ID of the giveaway message. Get it in Discord by right-clicking the message → Copy Message ID (Developer Mode must be on in your Discord settings), or use /giveaway list.

Any member who can see the channel can join – no command needed, just the button.

In the dashboard#

Under Dashboard → Engagement → Giveaways (/dashboard/<server>/giveaways) you'll find:

Key figures: total giveaways, running now and ended.
All giveaways with prize, winners, time (still running or ended), who started it and when.
View on Discord jumps straight to the message.

Giveaways are created and controlled with /giveaway in Discord; the dashboard gives you the overview.
