Badges

Custom server badges with a symbol and rarity – awarded automatically through milestones or by hand, shown in profiles and on the rank card.

CommandsDashboardActivity

Badges are small awards that members collect – say "Regular" for one year on the server or "Event winner" for winning a contest. Every badge has a symbol, a rarity and an optional custom color. Members see their badges in Discord, in their yurna profile and on the rank card.

You manage them under Dashboard → Engagement → Milestones, tab Badges (/dashboard/<server>/meilensteine/abzeichen).

Setting it up#

  1. Open Dashboard → Engagement → Milestones and switch to the Badges tab.
  2. Click New badge.
  3. Enter a name (up to 40 characters) and optionally a description (up to 200 characters).
  4. Choose a symbol: an emoji, a custom server emoji as <:name:id>, or an uploaded image (PNG, JPG or WebP, max. 1 MB).
  5. Pick the rarity and, if you like, a custom color. The preview shows how it looks.
  6. Save.

Settings#

  • Rarity: Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary. Without a custom color, the rarity colors the ring around the symbol.
  • Hidden: the badge only shows up in overviews once someone has it – great for surprises.
  • Key: a fixed identifier for later automations. You don't need it for regular badges.

You can create up to 100 badges per server – on every plan.

Awarding badges#

  • Automatically through a milestone rule with the action Award badge, for example "From 365 days on the server".
  • By hand in the dashboard: open the badge's Holders, search for the member (name or Discord ID), optionally add a reason and click Award. You can remove it there too. The member's page works as well.
  • In chat with /member badges give.

Deleting a badge removes it from all holders, and milestone rules that award it are deleted too.

How members see their badges#

  • In Discord with /member badges show (for themselves or another member).
  • In their own yurna profile on the website.
  • On the /rank card: up to 5 badges, rarest first. You can adjust the badge row in the Card designer.

Note

Besides server badges there are global yurna badges that apply on every server – for early supporters, for example. The yurna team awards them; you can't create them yourself. They do count toward the milestone source Number of badges.
