TikTok clips: short videos about your server
yurna creates short clips about your server from templates; you post them with your own TikTok account – as a draft or directly.
With TikTok clips, yurna renders short videos about your server from templates – for events, milestones or as an introduction. Name, icon, banner and member count come straight from Discord. You post with your own TikTok account.
Note
TikTok clips are in a testing phase and not visible on every server. If the feature is enabled for your server, you also need Half Moon or Full Moon.
In the dashboard#
- Open Dashboard → Content & automations → TikTok clips (
/dashboard/<server>/tiktok). - Create a clip: pick a Template and the Clip language and fill in the fields. Some fields are prefilled from last month's yurna statistics. Click Create clip.
- Creating usually takes a few minutes. You can see the progress under Your clips.
- Your TikTok account: click Continue with TikTok, log in at TikTok and allow access. Every server manager connects their own account.
- On a finished clip, click Post to TikTok and choose:
- As a draft – the video lands in your TikTok app's inbox. Add text and sound there and post it yourself.
- Post directly – yurna posts with your choices for visibility, comments, duet, stitch and content disclosure. This only works if it's enabled for your account.
- Instead of posting, you can also download a clip.
TikTok clips are web only; there's no slash command for them.
Why web only? Signing in with TikTok (OAuth) and the video studio with templates, preview, download and posting options need a browser.
Good to know#
- Clips are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- There's a quota per 24 hours; the page shows how many clips are left.
- yurna stores the TikTok login encrypted and only uses it when you explicitly post.
By command#
There's deliberately no slash command for it (see above). In Discord, /yurna dashboard gives you the link to the dashboard – open TikTok clips there.
Common questions#
I don't see “TikTok clips” in the menu?#
The feature isn't enabled for all servers yet.
Why can't I post directly?#
Direct posting isn't enabled for every account, or a permission was missing when you logged in. Use As a draft or reconnect your account.
Where's my draft?#
Open the TikTok app and tap the notification in your inbox. A draft doesn't carry the caption – copy it on the page first.
What happens when I disconnect?#
yurna revokes the login at TikTok and deletes it. Videos you already posted stay on TikTok.
