Weekly report and stat role

Every Monday yurna sends a report with a chart to a channel – monthly too with Full Moon, plus a role for the most active members.

The weekly report sums up your server's past week as an embed with a chart and sends it automatically to a channel of your choice. Full Moon adds a monthly report and the stat role.

How to set it up#

  1. Open Dashboard → Insights → Statistics and select the Weekly report tab.
  2. Turn on Send report.
  3. Pick a Channel, ideally a team channel. yurna needs “Send messages”, “Embed links” and, for the chart, “Attach files” there.
  4. Choose the Schedule: Weekly, Monthly or Week + month (monthly needs Full Moon).
  5. Save the settings.
  6. Click Send test report to send the report for the last 7 days to the saved channel right away.

What it looks like shows a preview – with last week's real numbers or, if nothing has been recorded yet, with sample data.

When does the report arrive?#

  • Weekly report: Mondays at 9:00 am (Europe/Berlin), covering the previous week from Monday to Sunday, compared with the week before.
  • Monthly report: on the 1st of the month at 9:00 am, covering the previous month, compared with the month before.

The tab also shows when the last report was sent.

What's in it#

Messages, voice time and active members, joins, leaves and net growth, the top channels, the top members and the busiest hour – each compared with the previous period. On top of that there's a chart with messages and voice minutes per day. The report uses the bot language set for your server (see Language).

Stat role#

With the stat role, yurna automatically rewards last week's most active members with a role every Monday. Anyone who's no longer among the most active hands the role back.

  1. In the Weekly report tab, pick a Role under Stat role.
  2. Under Number, set how many members get it (1 to 50).
  3. Save.

Activity is counted as in the “Members” tab: 1 point per message, 1 point per 5 voice minutes. Bots never get the role.

Warning

yurna's own role must be above the stat role in the role list. Otherwise yurna can neither assign nor remove it. Ideally use a dedicated role you don't use for anything else – members outside the top list lose it every week.

Common problems#

  • “Test report not sent”: Check that yurna has the three permissions mentioned above in the channel and that you saved first.
  • The monthly report stopped: Without Full Moon, the schedule automatically falls back to the weekly report.
  • The stat role isn't handed out: Is yurna's role above the stat role? yurna can't assign managed roles (for example from other bots).
